Final Project- Research 1 “Supreme”

Supreme was founded by James Jebbia in the fall of 1994 in Manhattan, New York. Oddly enough, James Jebbia didn’t know much about skateboarding, even though he loved and loved it. James Jebbia’s Supreme products are centered on the emerging skateboarding movement in New York City. The store attracts many famous skateboarders and street artists from the city to the Supreme store. Gradually, Surpeme became a street fashion brand that represented New York’s street culture, especially skateboarding.

Later, Supreme gradually pushed its influence outward, and was brought to London by GIMME5, a British fashion group. In Japan, it was promoted by Hiroshi Fujiwara and other manpower to enter the Japanese market, and was vigorously promoted by Kubozuka Yousuke, a popular idol in Japan. From then on, Supreme became famous in Asia.

Supreme is one of the most topical brands. In addition to having a regular number of co-branded products every quarter, Supreme’s products are more often designed around social headlines or political satire.For example, Supreme cooperation with Tyson (Tyson bit off someone’s ear in a recent fight)

And Lady Gaga by Supreme and erotic photographer Terry Richardson.
