This article comes from a construction website. Because I may study architectural design in the future. So I went to check a lot of information about building to Recycle. This building was designed by a team of STUDIOKCA in a competition in 2013. The company mobilized 200 volunteers to collect all the mineral water bottles in an hour in New York City. Then made this building “Head in the Clouds”. STUDIOKCA’s pavilion is a cloud-shaped structure that seeks to create a space where dreamers who inhabit the “city of dreams” can dream; a place to put your head (and body) in the clouds and dream that city of dreams.
When I first saw this project, I was shocked. I originally thought that the building was made of cement materials, but after a closer look, I found that it was made of plastic bottles. I never believed that garbage can make such a beautiful building, it gave me new ideas. It proves that garbage can be beautiful and useful again. I think this is also an ideal example of a sustainable building. In the future, people can use the idea of sustainable development to design and build buildings, and I think the use of recycled materials and the concept of sustainable development are a development trend in the future.
