Last Friday we made a building model out of plastic sheets. This is my first time to make an architectural model. I was very excited. And this is my work.
I designed the building it is an apartment. which uses the concept of sustainable development and combines the use of sociology. I used triangle to keep the residents’ balcony would not face each other, so it’s can protect their privacy . And the design also allows people to enjoy the sunshine better. And this place will be a green belt, and the top of this building will be a park , which will contain fountains, children’s amusement park, retail shop and so on. This can convenience people’s life, and also can protect the environment, so that people can see enough green. My inspiration for this design comes from my favorite architect Bjarke ingels. VM house designed by him is one of my favorite buildings. His design concept is to add sustainability to architectural design, which I think is very interesting and useful. Because resources are increasingly scarce in today’s society, if there is no sustainable idea to create, the earth may be destroyed.
