Conceptual Art

When you first saw this picture. I think you’ll laugh. Because it looks like a kindergarten painting. I don’t know how to draw. I haven’t studied in art school before. Although this painting looks very simple, but it contains a more serious problem in today’s Society – Environmental protection!

In fact, there are not only seven continents on the earth, there is also a continent in the Pacific Ocean, its name is “Pacific Garbage Belt”. This continent is a continent of rubbish. His area is six times that of England. And it is increasing every year. It contains as much as ten million tons of garbage. These rubbish is the result of our usual inattention to litter, now these rubbish has seriously endangered the health of the planet.

So we create is a picture. We want people to protect the environment. Let me introduce our work. We want to use simple colours to make a great painting. Obviously, we failed. It’s more like children’s paintings. Ok, let’s look at the painting. If this piece of blue is the sky, then this red colour block maybe the sun, but it may not be flying in the sky plastic bags. If the blue is not the sky, it is the sea, then whether these red colour patches may be sea plastic bags or some garbage. Just like this picture.

If the black box is a house, is it possible that the red block is placed here, the lantern or the door of the house? But what if this black box, instead of a house, was a garbage dump? Can this red box be a man standing in the middle of the dump? You can see this picture if the black box next to it is a road, then the red box placed here is not possible to be a telephone hall or the roadside trash can. If the black box is water, it could be trash floating on the water.

The green and red squares, if they were meadows, could be flowers or contaminated areas.

I think it gives people a lot of thought, so they can better protect the environment. Thank you for your homework.
