Brighton is a city full of art, because there are graffiti on many buildings, which can be said to be a paradise for street artists. There is no fixed place for street art in Brighton. Artists can create their works anywhere. They can paint on walls, on the ground, on trash cans, on mailboxes and so on. These graffiti forms are abstract and exaggerated, and their themes are rich, such as homosexual themes, war themes, heroic themes and so on.
I think these graffitis are very interesting. These street artists express their views on society in their unique ways. This time I came to Brighton to see these beautiful, delicate and different graffiti, and I think it’s very worthwhile.
I was also inspired by visiting these graffiti. I can use the exaggerated and abstract form of graffiti art to make posters for my project 3. The theme of our group is “No business, no killing.” I can use graffiti art to design posters to appeal to people not to kill wildlife for their own sake.
